
What we do
Fondation Quancer is dedicated to advancing cancer research and improving cancer patient care across Switzerland. We provide funding for projects conducted by leading researchers at Swiss higher education institutions and hospitals. By promoting collaboration, knowledge sharing, and the development of cutting-edge infrastructure, we aim to drive progress in cancer prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care. Our work helps ensure that Swiss-led initiatives receive the resources they need to make a meaningful impact on cancer outcomes.
The Foundation
Fondation Quancer was established in June 2025 to support advancements in cancer research and patient care.
Fondation Quancer is subject to oversight by the Swiss Supervisory Authority for Foundations, which has approved its statutes and organisational regulations.
The foundation’s governing bodies consist of a Board and the Auditors.
Our Mission
The mission of Fondation Quancer is to support cutting-edge research within Switzerland that leads to breakthroughs in cancer care. We are dedicated to funding initiatives that contribute to better prevention, more accurate diagnostics, and improved treatment outcomes for cancer patients in Switzerland. To achieve our goal, we engage in:

The Board

Dr. Amandine Bovay
Chair of the Board
Dr. Amandine Bovay serves as Chair of the Board, bringing governance and leadership experience. With a background biochemistry, Dr. A. Bovay has led numerous health research initiatives. In addition, she serves on the boards of several philanthropic organisations.

Prof. Dr. Camilla Jandus
Vice Chair of the Board
Prof. Dr. Camilla Jandus brings extensive expertise in immuno-oncology and translational cancer research. As a professor at the University of Geneva and a leading figure in tumor immunology, Prof. Jandus focuses on harnessing the immune system to combat cancer. Her pioneering work in T-cell immunotherapy and novel diagnostic approaches is shaping the future of personalised cancer treatment.

Dr. Pascal Bovay
Board Member
Dr. Pascal Bovay brings valuable strategic insights to the foundation. With his extensive experience in finance and entrepreneurship, Dr. P. Bovay contributes to ensuring the long-term success of the foundation.
