Fondation Quancer is pleased to announce an open call for applications to patient-oriented translational oncology research projects led by early-career researchers in Switzerland. This initiative aims to support studies using patient-derived data and/or patient-derived specimens to drive meaningful progress in cancer research, with the goal of improving clinical decision-making and addressing unmet clinical challenges.

Who can apply?
Eligible applicants are researchers at the postdoctoral level up to the stage prior to independent group leadership affiliated with a Swiss academic or research institution.
Funding scope
The call supports translational cancer research projects that utilise patient-derived data and/or specimens. Projects must show clear translational intent and be relevant to diagnostic, prognostic, or therapeutic advancements in cancer, although a direct clinical implementation path is not required.
Financial information
Maximum funding per project : 150’000 CHF
Maximum duration: 2 years
